Saving the small things that run the planet
Part of the national Urban Buzz project, Urban Buzz Cardiff created or enhanced 25 hectares of pollinator habitat across 103 ‘Buzzing Hotspots’ in the city. Thanks to the effort of over 1,000 volunteers, Cardiff’s green spaces were enhanced for pollinators with wildflower-rich grassland creation and enhancement, bug-friendly garden plants, Elm planting for White-letter Hairstreak (Satyrium w-album), green roof bike shelters and wood carved benches and bee planters.
