Discover Pollinators at Crymlyn Burrows SSSI with Buglife Cymru

Join Buglife and Ai-Lin Kee from Nature on Your Doorstep as we discover the pollinating insects that make their home at Crymlyn Burrows. Have a go at using our sweep nets to catch and identify any insects you find.

This is a free event, children and families welcome!

Meet at the Margam Square entrance of Crymlyn Burrows Site of Special Scientific Interest. This is located on Crymlyn Way within the Swansea Bay Campus.

The walk will cross parts of the sand dunes-suitable footwear recommended.

This session is being delivered as part of Buglife Cymru’s Neath Port Talbot B-Lines Project- a 3-yr project, working with communities and partners to restore and create wildflower-rich habitat within the B-Lines network, supporting pollinators including nationally rare species such as the Long-horned bee and the Shrill carder bee.
