Buglife has been delivering invertebrate conservation projects in Wales since 2012, and in 2014 we established the Buglife Cymru office located in Cardiff. With a permanent presence in Wales we’ve been able to work with a range of partners to develop new projects. Explore our project work below:

South Wales B-Lines

Working with partners and local communities to restore and create habitat for pollinators in Neath port Talbot and Swansea. 


Giving Nature a Home in Cardiff

Buglife has teamed up with RSPB Cymru and the City of Cardiff Council to encourage people to engage with their local green spaces.

Urban Buzz Cardiff

Over 100 pollinator-friendly areas created across Cardiff including meadows and bee banks.

Surveying, managing and raising awareness of brownfield habitat in Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.
