About the talk

There is a lot more to wasps than your stripy picnic friend. Wasps taught us how to make paper, wasps are architects, guardians of microorganisms, pollinators, seed dispersers and nature’s pest-controllers. Wasps provide windows into evolution’s most remarkable inventions. As pharmacists, they might even hold a cure for cancer. Some have sex inside plants; others turn cockroaches into zombies. Professor Sumner guarantees you a mind-blowing journey into the secret world of wasps. If you have a smart phone, bring it along for some interactive wasp fun!
