Flies are one of the megadiverse groups of animals but are hated, ignored or misunderstood by most.  This is gradually changing with increased knowledge that many species are essential for ecosystem services, such as pollination.

This talk aims to highlight our current knowledge about Dipteran pollinators and why we really should be paying attention to them.
