This year Cardiff and Newport are joining the global citizen science event City Nature Challenge to encourage people to get out and record wildlife on their doorstep. Its easy to take part and anyone get involved. Never recorded wildlife before?
All you need to do is:
- Download the inaturalist app
- Get outside and take a picture of something in nature
- Share your observation on the “City Nature Challenge 2021: Cardiff & Newport” Project on iNaturalist
Although the event is all about self-led fun and science a programme of handy resources, activity ideas and online talks and videos will be made available via the event programme and update on social media.
