Have you ever been curious about what’s buzzing in your garden?

Do you want to contribute to citizen science and bumblebee conservation, but you just don’t know where to start?

Join Buglife and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust for the first in a series of FREE workshops funded by the Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme, aiming to help people discover how to recognise, record and conserve bumblebees in Newport.

During this online workshop, we will discuss how to identify the most common bumblebee species in Newport and what to aim for when recording them.

We will also introduce Bumblebee Conservation Trust’s citizen science project Bee Walk and discuss how anyone can contribute to bumblebee recording and conservation and discuss other opportunities to contribute to bumblebee conservation in Newport.
