Join Buglife Scotland and Montrose Yoga for a free yoga class taking place in one of the wildflower meadows at Mavis Bank, home to Scotia Seeds.
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature whilst taking part in a rejuvenating yoga class. This will be a Hatha Yoga class followed by a guided relaxation session. There will also be herbal teas available at the end of the class to sit and unwind before you go about the rest of your day.
This Class will be taught by a Scotland qualified and registered teacher, Cheryl Lang who has been teaching yoga in Montrose since 2007. Cheryl has completed Yoga Scotland’s Introduction to Ayurveda, the yogic system of medicine for body and mind. She has also trained with the Mindfulness Association, and is a mindfulness practitioner.
This class is free and is kindly supported by Cheryl and Scotia Seeds – you just need to bring your own mat, blanket and wear warm layers. It’s suitable for all levels, including absolute beginners.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential

This session is being delivered as part of Buglife Scotland’s Strathmore B-Lines Project- a 2-yr project, working with communities and partners to restore and create wildflower-rich habitat within the B-Lines network, reconnecting habitats & helping pollinating insects move across the landscape.
The work of Strathmore B-Lines has been made possible by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and The Gannochy Trust.
