This year at the Big Rock Pool Challenge: Community BioBlitz Festival 2025, The Rock Pool Project are excited to gather together from 19-20 September, for a jam-packed 24 hours of wildlife recording and celebrating our stunning coastline in the UK.
The theme this year is ‘Our Coast. Our Climate. Our Future.’ The focus will be on climate-sensitive species and to generate vital biodiversity data to support scientific research, conservation efforts, and regional climate resilience planning.
Buglife Kernow Wyls Conservation Officer, Scott and Conservation Assistant, Will, will be at the event leading a Moth Trap event (Saturday 20 September, 9:00-10:00) and a Bug Hunt (Saturday 20 September 14:00-15:00).
