Saving the small things that run the planet
Torbay’s Buzzing! Project created over 8 hectares of habitat for pollinators, helping to re-connected the local community with the wildlife on their doorstep. Mown grass areas were transformed into new wildflower-rich grasslands and existing grasslands enhanced with more flowers, alongside the creation of seven ‘Pollinator Cafes’ in popular public areas and planting blossom-rich trees for bees.
