Professor Adam Hart is an entomologist, conservation scientist and broadcaster based at the University of Gloucestershire. He has made wide use of citizen science tools to investigate nationwide natural events, including ant nuptial flights (“flying ants”), house spider emergence in autumn (“spider season”), starling murmurations, and wasps (through the on-going Big Wasp Survey).
