Entographica – Insect-inspired Art Exhibition from the Entographic Collective

Thursday 29th January, 2026 - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Royal Bath Literature and Science Institute, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath BA1 2HN

Entrographica is an art exhibition by the Entographic Collective – a group of 17 artists on a mission to change the negative public perception of insects. To shift from insects being seen as an ugly nuisance or viewed with total indifference to an appreciation of them as small creatures of great beauty who play a vital role in maintaining life on our planet.

Can art influence public attitudes and perceptions? The Collective believe that it can.

By offering insect inspired art from seventeen very different artists, the collective aspire to raise
awareness of insect diversity, their ubiquity, beauty and strangeness. Using art as a gateway
into the microcosm of the insect world, this exhibition offers a glimpse of a realm that exists just
below the level of human perception. A glimpse that will, we hope inspire wonder and curiosity. A brief encounter that will invoke empathy and appreciation leading to a more positive
relationship with insects and the wider natural world.
