Are you interested in learning more about pollinators and how to survey them?
Join BTO (British Trust for Ornithology) Youth and Buglife for an afternoon learning how to identify the 10 pollinator groups. You’ll also be trained on how to carry out a PoM Scheme Flower Insect Timed (FIT) Count!
During the session, you’ll venture outside to find target flowers and practice your new ID skills. By the end of the session you’ll have carried out at least one FIT count and will have gained more knowledge about about BTO surveys.
This session is ideal for beginners but any level is welcome.
