Bee Bank Building with Life on the Edge

Build a bee bank for some of our amazing mining bees! These clifflets provide a safe habitat for the bees to burrow into away from the storm waves. We will working alongside the National Trust Rangers and sieving the soil to record any found flints.

Life on the Edge volunteers spend time in the fresh air, being active, meeting new people and making a real difference for nature – come and join the crew!

Transport pick up/drop off available if you need a life to come out.

Life on the Edge is a partnership project that sees Buglife working alongside South Devon National Landscape (project lead), as well as other partner organisations including the National TrustTorbay Coast and Countryside Trust and the South West Coast Path Association. The project aims to restore viable populations of some of the UK’s rarest invertebrates and plants living along the South Devon coast.
