Why vote for Buglife?
During 2024, Buglife shared some fantastic positive news stories linked to a variety of projects around the UK and UKOTs including:
- Receiving and publishing the first ever images captured of the elusive Bermuda Sac Spider (Anyphaena bermudensis), through the Supporting Atlantic Territories Invertebrate Conservation project.
- Supporting the successful hatching of the first baby Medicinal Leeches (Hirudo medicinalis) on the Species on the Edge project. This was a vital step in securing the future of one of Scotland’s rarest invertebrates.
- Receiving the greatest levels of participation ever in our Bugs Matter survey, which monitors flying insect abundance. This data will provide critical insights into insect declines in the UK.
- The discovery of a new species of beetle in Northern Ireland, the Fence-climber Twiglet Weevil (Xenosacalles irlandikos), by Buglife Conservation Officer, Joshua Clarke.
Who are My Favourite Voucher Codes?
My Favourite Voucher Codes is a money-saving website dedicated to saving money for its users and raising money for amazing causes every month. Established in 2012, the brand has raised over £64,000 for hundreds of different causes.
You can find thousands of voucher codes on their site and discounts for some of the most respected retailers in the UK. With every sale generated, they make a small commission at no extra cost to the consumer. Through this, they can make their charity donation each month – the more sales generated over the month, the bigger the contribution.
