All Aboard The B-Line

Are you a budding young artist? Do you live in London? If so, you could have your artwork displayed on the London Underground in Buglife’s exciting new art competition!

Buglife’s ‘Get London Buzzing!‘ project is running an art competition for young people in London, with the winning entries featuring in our upcoming advertising campaign, ‘All Aboard the B-Line!’ on the Tube. Millions of Londoners could see your art at stations across the city!

B-Lines are helping bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects by making space for wildflowers and wildlife. Insects are in trouble because they’re running out of places to live and finding it difficult to move through our landscape. That’s where the B-lines come in, a network that connects the country much like the tube network connects London, allowing insects and other wildlife to move through our towns, cities and countryside.

There are lots of ways you can help pollinating insects! By working together to replant wildflowers in our parks, schools and gardens, mowing the grass less often and not using pesticides, we can restore safe spaces for pollinators and reconnect this insect transport network. By doing this we’re not just helping insects, but ourselves too, because pollinating insects help us produce 1/3 of the food we eat!

So, we’d like you to help spread the word about B-Lines and ‘Get London Buzzing!’, by sending us your most amazing pollinator-themed artwork for our competition, to create an eye-catching advert that stands out from the crowd. The winners will get to see their artwork featured in our ‘All Aboard the B-Line’ campaign on the London Underground!
