Buglife is the only charity in the UK and the EU that works to conserve all invertebrates. We are looking for three motivated and talented individuals to join our Board of Trustees. 

Buglife has thirty staff members spread across the UK and runs some of the nation’s biggest bee and pollinator conservation projects, we are also active on freshwater conservation and look after the bugs everywhere in the UK and abroad.

You’ll join a team of ten trustees with skills in conservation, management, law, regulation, banking, HR and policy. As a trustee your primary role is to provide strategic direction, help set overall policy and monitor performance, as well as ensuring we comply with charity law and our own governing documents.

CHAIR
We are looking to appoint and able and experienced leader to head up the Board of Trustees and take the Charity through the next strategy development and into the implementation phase. 

HONORARY TREASURER
We are seeking a finance professional (a qualified accountant or similar) with experience in a wide range of financial matters (strategic financial planning, investments budgeting and accounts, risk management and financial controls), and particularly experience of oversight of charity finances. 

TRUSTEE WITH COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE
We would like to appoint a supportive individual with experience of communications roles in the charity and wildlife sector, who feels they have ideas and knowledge of the decision making landscape to contribute.
