A FREE workshop on an introduction to lacewings and their relatives.

Lacewings are fascinating insects. There are over 35 species of lacewing in the UK! Their relatives include snakeflies, scorpionflies, alderflies and snow fleas. This workshop will provide an introduction to lacewings and their relatives with information in how to identify some of the commonly seen species and how to survey and monitor them.

This event will include both indoor and outdoor activities. Please bring along your lunch, sturdy footwear and warm clothes. If you have a hand lens or a copy of an insect guide please feel free to bring along on the day.
