Bridgeness Biodiversity Volunteer Event October

Where: Bridgeness Ship Breakers, accessed by lane adjacent to Thomas Cuthall & Sons Funeral Directors, Bridgeness Road, EH51 9SH

When: First Wednesday of every month from 10am-1pm.

The wildlife site Bridgeness Ship Breakers is well used by the local community and people using the route of the John Muir Way as it passes through Bo’ness. Learn about the importance of this site for wildlife and get involved with habitat management tasks including scrub removal and litter picks. Training is provided in how to use tools as well as how to identify the animals and plants that call this site home. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring warm clothes and waterproofs.
