More than just “Long Horns”!

Date Tuesday 14th March 2017
Time 10 am – 3 pm
Meet Pittencrieff Park Glassroom
With characteristically long antennae and often striking colouration, longhorn beetles are eye-catching beasts! Did you know that they also have huge ecological importance, particularly in woodlands?
Join us to discover more about their importance to the environment, where and how to find them – and how to identify what you’ve found!
No experience necessary. We will spend time both indoors and outdoors as we learn about these fascinating creatures and practice our identification and survey skills.
Places are FREE but limited, so booking is essential.
