The Spiders of Waltham Place and Brenthurst Garden

The Spiders of Waltham Place and Brenthurst Garden- Thursday 24th August 2017 9.30am- 4.15pm

We invite you to join us at Waltham Place for an introduction to the spiders found during surveys here at Waltham Place and at our sister garden, Brenthurst Gardens in South Africa. Experts from the UK’s own Buglife charity and South African Buglife will be joined by international speakers from South Africa to share with you their findings and to talk with you about the importance of spiders in a balanced ecology, their habitat associations and conservation for future generations. After lunch there will be time to explore the gardens and grounds of Waltham Place with our speakers, looking for spiders and sharing information.
