An exciting opportunity to lead and develop our growing team in Scotland.
The role focusses on supporting the growth of our work in Scotland by developing and fundraising for new projects and workstreams. This role will lead our Conservation team with support from our Countries Manager and Fundraising Team. The role will develop and build new relationships with partners and funders, and manage the delivery of our charitable aims and objectives in Scotland.
Focus areas for project development will be: the development of the Species on the Edge (SOTE) project with partners; the development of new B-Lines projects in Scotland; and growing our other work in the conservation of threatened species on land and in freshwaters.
The post holder will also be our spokesperson for Buglife in Scotland, and manage a small team of Conservation Officers, ensuring that they are supported in their work, that our suite of Scottish Conservation projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, and that all financial claims and reporting is completed.
The role will be based in our Stirling office, although you will be required to work from home initially due to Covid 19 restrictions. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, based on 5 days per week.
