We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our dedicated team in this unique position that combines two distinct aspects:
HR Advisor Role (15 hours per week, permanent)
You’ll provide professional HR support across the organisation, working closely with the HR Director and HR Administrator to deliver effective HR services.
Change Management Support (15 hours per week, 12-month fixed-term)
You’ll support the implementation of change initiatives and help maintain positive employee experience during periods of transition.
Key Responsibilities
HR Advisor (Permanent):
– Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and staff
– Support recruitment and selection processes
– Assist with employee relations matters
– Help maintain HR policies and procedures
– Lead learning and development initiatives
– Work collaboratively with the HR Administrator to ensure smooth service delivery
Change Management (Fixed-term):
– Support the delivery of change management initiatives
– Help create and distribute change communications
– Assist with engagement activities
– Support managers in implementing change
– Help coordinate feedback mechanisms
– Contribute to change adoption monitoring
What You’ll Need
Essential:
– CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience
– Knowledge of UK employment legislation
– Strong experience of leading Learning and Development
– Demonstrable experience in change management or organisational development
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience in supporting HR processes and policies
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Desirable:
– Experience in the charitable or conservation sector
– Knowledge of engagement and communication techniques
– Understanding of wellbeing support during organisational change
– Experience with learning and development initiatives
Personal Qualities:
– Excellent relationship building skills
– Empathetic and supportive approach
– Good organisational abilities
– Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly
