Insects of the Future

Thursday 14th October, 2021 - 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh

The Insect Ambassador to COP26 invites you to be inspired by our ‘insects of the future’ and consider how the actions of Humankind affect the Insect Nations. Invertebrates are the largest biomass on the Planet, when they start moving around due to Climate Change – how will that affect us?  You can also contribute your ideas to INfesto – the Insect Nations Manifesto for Action, encouraging government to consider invertebrates in Policy.  This is a promenade installation through the Main Range Glasshouse – masks and social distancing are required. A free, thought-provoking event, fun for all the family.  Insects created by Common wheel Carnival club. The installation will be open 12-4pm Thursday 14th to Saturday 17th October
