With numbers declining rapidly there is an URGENT need for action to preserve and protect our White-claws into the future, and to reduce the impacts of introduced crayfish.
Currently the big problems in the UK that need addressing are stopping the spread of introduced crayfish, stopping the transfer of crayfish plague and improving conditions for White-claws.
