Buglife is a quirky and distinctive organisation where an experienced fundraising professional can really make their mark and see the impact of their work. Buglife works to conserve the small creatures that run the world – everything from bees to beetles and jumping spiders to jellyfish! Please look around our website for a flavour of what we do and how we work.
Buglife has been described as an organisation that ‘punches above its weight’. In 2009, Buglife won the Conservation Award in the national Observer Ethical Awards.
You will lead our fundraising for an interim period while we undertake an exciting development project. You will raise funds from trusts and foundations, the statutory sector, lottery, companies and major donors. Key responsibilities include identifying funders, writing project proposals and applications, developing budgets and overseeing reporting.
You will have substantial proven experience of grant, corporate and major donor fundraising, be target-driven and get excited about achieving results. You will be self-motivated and enjoy managing a demanding workload, knowing that your work will mean Buglife is better able to conserve amazing wildlife.

We have an accessible city centre location, and Peterborough is less than an hour from London by train. You may choose to work from home the majority of the time and location is flexible.
