New vacancy for Buglife Administrator

Can you help us to improve the well-being of the UK’s smallest, and most neglected, inhabitants? Buglife is seeking an Office and Membership Administrator to fulfil a key role.

Buglife is seeking a superbly reliable Administrator to join our small team at our Head Office in Peterborough.

This varied and fulfilling position requires someone with experience of managing an office and finance systems. You will be a key staff member at the heart of the organisation and with responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the HQ office and the organisation’s finances, and with a key role in looking after and interacting with our individual supporters.

The post requires a high level of ability in organisation, office management and administration. Previous experience of developing and implementing office systems and undertaking secretarial work is required. Experience of membership databases, supporter services, Direct Debit and raising funds from individuals would be highly valued.

The post-holder must be dependable, a good communicator, with a high standard of written and spoken English, an excellent telephone manner, an even temperament and able to work well with, and network between, all levels of staff and volunteers within the organisation and in partner organisations.

The salary for the position is £15,000-£18,000 (salary dependant on experience). The post is full-time.

Our offices are within walking distance of the train and bus stations. Peterborough is centrally located with good train links in all directions.
