Craig Macadam, Conservation Officer, Scotland said ‘The Scottish Education Pack - Marvellous Minibeast hopes to challenge misconceptions and raise awareness of just how important invertebrates are – for people, for other animals and ecosystems and for the planet. With this pack you will be able to encourage young people to take small steps to conserve invertebrates, and encourage them to take interest in the wildlife living with and around them’.

Lessons include information on how to make a wildlife garden for bugs, how to make bee and bug hotels, how to lead a bug hunt and the threats facing some of the star invertebrate species in Scotland including the Bog bush cricket, Aspen hoverfly and the Narrow-headed ant.
