Creepy crawlies under the microscope. Thursday 10 April, 10am to 12.30pm Investigate amazing minibeasts in close-up detail, including cockroaches, butterflies and fleas! Age 2 to adult
Mini-pets in your compost! Saturday 10 May 10am to 12.30pm
See the minibeasts in compost under the microscope and find out how to care for these busy little friends of the environment. Age 3 plus
An event for National Compost Week in partnership with Canterbury City Council's Recycling and Waste Minimisation Team
Dragonflies and damselflies. Sat 24 May, 10am to 12.30pm
Discover how dragonflies and damselflies got their names and create a colourful model to take home. Age 4 plus

Pick up a magnifying glass and explore the galleries in a hunt for some amazing creepy crawlies and incredible facts! Free minibeast lucky dip for all entrants! For children age 2 plus.
Seashore Safari. Saturday 7 June 10am to 12.30pm
Meet in the Museum at 10am to join a minibeast seashore safari - wear sensible footwear! (Not suitable for dogs or buggies) Age 5 plus
