Spring 2012 Buglife volunteer days at Roughcastle for the Falkirk Stepping Stones Project on: 17th of April: Creating a bee bank, 24th of April: Birch removal, 8th of May: Wildflower plug planting and 15 of May: Wildflower plug planting. For more information contact Suzie Bairner on 01786 447504.

3rd March Insect Film Festival at Roland Levinsky Building, Plymouth University Plymouth. Showing bug films and offering bug activities for all the family throughout the day: afternoon showings include: James and the Giant Peach & Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo. In the evening the festival turns rather darker with a performance of insect music and a showing of The Fly.

31st March Wild Park 2012 National Park open day at David Marshall Lodge, Aberfoyle.

12th May Taynish NNR at Knapdale.

26th May ExtInked Project at Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens.

1st to 3rd June Gardening Scotland at The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston.

2nd to 10th June Peterborough Green Festival bug hunting and pond dipping sessions.

7th June Peterborough's Buzzing at Peterborough Museum.

23rd June North East Bioblitz at Haddo Park.

7th July Discover Amazonia.

21st to 22nd July Glasgow Show at Glasgow Green.

25th July Wild in the City at the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow.

4th August Pollok Family Day at Pollok Park Glasgow.

17th to 19th August British Birdwatching Fair - Birdfair at Rutland Water.
